Optimizing mining revenues and alignment with SDMP for improved local development planning

This workshop will engage participants to compute the shares from national wealth of local government units (LGUs), particularly the barangay. They will also review the mining company’s Social Impact Assessment (SIA) report and Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) to propose a project that complements the SDMP and addresses unmet needs in the community without duplicating existing initiatives.
